Moses Lake man reported missing

EPHRATA - A search for 64-year-old Dan Toya was halted Saturday, but the investigation into his disappearance continues.
Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones is asking the public to help locate Toya.
Toya was last seen on Friday when he told his wife Hazel he was taking their 10-month-old Labrador retriever, named Molly, to a veterinarian in Moses Lake, then for a walk.
Family members were contacted when he didn't return home and one found his pickup that evening near Samson's Beach on County Road K.5 Southeast, south of Moses Lake.
"There is no evidence indicating foul play," said Jones.
The sheriff's office began a search of the area using law enforcement, emergency service personnel, Toya's friends and family.
"There were close to 100 people helping with the search," Jones said Monday.
Searchers continued through the night and Saturday morning without finding Toya or his dog. The family was consulted with before the sheriff's office ended the search at 2 p.m.
"We were in close contact with them at all times," Jones said.
Toya was reportedly in good health and good spirits.
The public is being asked to help with the investigation and report any sightings of Toya by calling 9-1-1 or 509-762-1160.
Toya is an Asian male, stands 5 foot, 9 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.
"He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, blue jeans and tennis shoes," Jones stated.
