Notice is hereby given that a request for a Variance received on

December 2, 2011 from H & V Land, LLC (Designated Contact:

Harold J. Moberg, PO Box N, 611 East Riviera Avenue, Moses Lake, WA

98837, 509-765-1699) was found to be technically complete and

preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development

Code and other applicable state and local requirements as of

December 13, 2011.

Notice is hereby given that a request for a Variance received on December 2, 2011 from H & V Land, LLC (Designated Contact: Harold J. Moberg, PO Box N, 611 East Riviera Avenue, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-765-1699) was found to be technically complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable state and local requirements as of December 13, 2011. PROJECT: A Variance to the 4-ft. front yard height restriction for fences as defined by GCC ยง 23.08.020(f), in order to enable the construction of a 10-ft. high fence for security and visual screening along the west and south property lines of a 4.56-acre parcel in the Urban Heavy Industrial zoning district of Grant County. SEPA: Exempt. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Site Plan Review, Building Permits. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 13624 North Frontage Road East, Moses Lake, WA. The subject parcel is known as Lot 1 of the Walker Industrial Short Plat, Replat No. 1. The site is located approximately 11/2 miles east of Moses Lake, WA, and approximately 1/2 mile west of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Road N NE, and in the NE quarter of Section 32, Township 19 North, Range 29 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #31-2143-000). PUBLIC HEARING: Board of Adjustment hearing tentatively scheduled at 7 pm, February 8, 2012, in Commissioners' Hearing Room of Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
