Cattle Producers discuss investment opportunities

RITZVILLE – One of the topics of discussion for the Cattle Producers of Washington's next meeting will be investment opportunities for non-members in the new meat processing plant at Odessa.
The CPW monthly meeting will take place at the home of Ginger Schoessler at 1588 E. Rosenoff Road, Ritzville. It will take place at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
The CPW is offering promissory notes as the investment vehicle. It had intended to offer “preferred stock” but was advised that was not a legal method of investment for the co-op operation.
Other topics of the meeting will include director elections, annual meeting survey, legislative issues and planning for the CPW Feb. 8-9 visit to Olympia and the wolf plan that was discussed on Dec. 2-3.
