Workshop planned in Mattawa

MATTAWA - Grant County Emergency Management will conduct an emergency information seminar for families here on Saturday, Dec. 12.
The Mattawa Emergency Information Workshop will go from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wahluke High School. According to spokeswoman Maggie Celaya, it will deal with several topics.
"Come and learn about the hazards in the community and how to protect you and your family," Celaya said.
Topics to be discussed include:
* A family plan.
* A 72-hour kit.
* Emergency shelter.
* First aid and CPR.
* Hazards in the community.
