Donald Sharp

| December 9, 2011 5:00 AM

Donald Ben Sharp, 57, longtime Moses Lake resident died in Samaritan Hospital Sunday, November 27, 2011. Don was born September 22, 1954 in Landstühl, Germany to Basil B. and Lillian (Therhune) Sharp.

Due to Don's father serving in the U.S. Army, his family moved several times living in many different areas, thus Don and his siblings Charlotte and David became their "own best friends" and remained very close. Don was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors and camping with his family. He was always able to make everybody smile; he loved joking around and laughing and he loved the Seattle Seahawks football team. He was happiest traveling down the road in his pickup and camper with his boat in tow heading off to one of his favorite fishing destinations.

Donald is deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Donald is survived by his loving wife Debbie Sharp, parents Basil and Lillian Sharp, sister and brother-in-law Charlotte and Butch Massey, all of Moses Lake and sister-in-law Treasa Sharp, of Winnemucca, Nevada, along with numerous nieces and nephews who dearly loved their uncle Don and miss him very much.

Donald was preceded in death by his dear brother David Sharp.

A service to celebrate Donald's life will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in New Beginnings Christian Center, 318 W. Northshore Drive, Moses Lake, WA 98837. A potluck luncheon will immediately follow the services in the Fellowship Hall.

Memorial donations, if desired may be made to Grant County Animal Outreach, 6725 Randolph Road NE, P.O. Box 489, Moses Lake, WA 98837
