MOSES LAKE - Crystal Lloyd knocked down 17 points, and Amber Lloyd added 14 to lead the Lady Phoenix to a 45-32 win at home over the Koyotes Tuesday.

The non-league victory improves CBSS overall record to 1-1, as the team is yet to play a league game.

"I am very proud of my Lady Phoenix team," coach Clint Scriven said. "They have been working hard and for them to get their first victory in two years at home in front of a big crowd was amazing."

CBSS led 9-8 at the end of the first quarter and was up 23-15 at the break. The Phoenix picked up where they left off in the second quarter, out scoring Kahlotus 10-6 to take a 33-21 into the last eight minutes of the ball game.

The Koyotes managed to put 11 points on the board in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough to pull out a win as the team dropped the game to CBBS 45-32. The Phoenix get back into action next Tuesday when they host Wilson Creek. Tipoff is set for 6p.m.
