MLHS girls beat Pasco

PASCO - The Moses Lake girls basketball team hit the road Saturday to take on Pasco and found little resistance from the Bulldogs, beating the team 54-28.

The non-league action saw Chiefs go up 13-5 in the first period of play and take a 28-15 lead at the half. Moses Lake doubled Pasco's output in the second half of play, 26-13 to win going away.

Junior Kyleigh Gamez led the way for Moses Lake with 16 points. Emily Olson added 14, Sadie Nielsen had nine points, Madison Wilks knocked down four, Carina Lefave and Caylah Lunning had two each and Hailee Bishop finished with one point. Pasco's CC Alferness had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Moses Lake played Hanford Friday, but the game time information and stats were not made available at press time.

The Chiefs get back into action tomorrow night when they host Hermiston at 7:30 p.m.
