SEPA checklist received by Grant County on November 9, 2011 from
Port District No. 3 of Grant County (Designated Contact: Jeff
Curtis, PO Box 956, Mattawa, WA 99349, 509-932-4479), were found to
be technically complete on November 28, 2011.

Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Plat application and SEPA checklist received by Grant County on November 9, 2011 from Port District No. 3 of Grant County (Designated Contact: Jeff Curtis, PO Box 956, Mattawa, WA 99349, 509-932-4479), were found to be technically complete on November 28, 2011. PROJECT: A Preliminary Plat of approximately 146.72 acres to create twelve (12) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. Proposed Lot 1 will be approximately 61.36 acres in size, will be owned by Port District No. 3 of Grant County, and will contain an existing waste water treatment plant. The remaining lots will range between approximately 3.78 and 20.35 acres in size, and will be sold for agricultural uses and/or agricultural-based businesses. None of the proposed lots will retain residential development capacity. STUDIES REQUIRED: Cultural Resources Survey.
LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 22801 Road U SW, Mattawa, WA. It is located approximately one mile northwest of Mattawa, WA, immediately west of State Highway 243 between Road 22.5 SW and Road 23 SW, and in a portion of the south half of Section 27, Township 15 North, Range 23 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #15-0195-000). PRESENT ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: Planning Commission hearing tentatively scheduled at 7:00 pm on February 1, 2012, in the Commissioners' Hearing Room of Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.
