Choose wisely!

Seek out the truth. Facts matter in this election. The Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District is factual and transparent with rate payers and the surrounding community. District integrity and accomplishments are unmistakable. Agency oversight and annual audits confirm these facts. I have also been an eye witness while serving on the board of directors for 10 years.

MLIRD received the Vision 20/20 award for projects and economic development plus over $300,000 in outside funding. More than two dozen long overdue repair and upgrade projects have been completed in the past three years. Improvements continue at Connelly Park. Dredging in Parker Horn is on schedule. The pump station and fish gates at Pelican Horn were updated. Other successes are too numerous to include here.

Eight local organizations committed to four public "Lake Forums" in an unprecedented vote of support for district operations and staff. Have you red the district's "Lake View" newsletter or stayed informed in other ways? Get the facts at www.mlird.org

MLIRD must continue to move forward for the benefit of the entire community. Our lake is no longer "dying." Improved water quality directly affects the value of your property and has huge impacts on the local economy that cannot be ignored.

Bill Bailey is an honest, no-nonsense business professional who has been actively serving our community since 1975. Bill Bailey is proactive and, bottom line, the best informed candidate for director of MLIRD. I urge you to vote for him on Dec. 13.
