Reader agrees with editorial

Nice editorial about budgets. It's the best idea yet. Too bad the people depending on government paychecks won't let it happen. They will start arguing about how their agency or organization that relies on state money is so important that they need all of the their budget. If they don't have a target for a larger cut to leave them alone, they will attack your idea or the Columbia Basin Herald.

Cutting spending is the only choice. Just where do they think they will get the money when revenue is down? We don't have it.

Anyone who doesn't agree with this simple brilliant idea, must work for government.
