Good returns for Duel in the Desert

Once again the 2011 Duel in the Desert golf tournament sponsored by the Grant County EDC was a well attended hit.

The Aug. 5-6 competition ended up raising $35,800 for the EDC this year as 107 players met up at Moses Lake Golf Club on the first day and at Moses Pointe the following afternoon. The monies raised came via $7,500 from the annual banquet and then the rest came from various donations from a number of sponsors.
