Stuart O'Byrne

Born to eternal life August 14, 2011, age 90. Beloved husband of the late Loretta (Abbott) O'Byrne for 67 years. Dear father of Dr. Stuart A. and Michael O'Byrne, father in law of Carmel and Mary O'Byrne. Fond brother of Patricia Keefe and the late Sharon Rauch and the late Charles O'Byrne. He is further survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Stuart was a US Army Veteran of WWII, serving the Fifth Army in Italy and North Africa and Germany. He served as the District Commissioner of Boy Scouts in Chicago, and as the Superintendent of House Keeping at Chicago's Art Institute. He was a stationary engineer at several hotels in Chicago. After retirement he moveds from Chicago to Federal Way Wa. and then in 2005 to Moses Lake Wa. He and his wife had hospice and nursing home musica ministries which continued until their health failed them.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday August 23 at 12:30 pm at New Beginnings Church 318 W. Northshore Dr. Moses Lake.
