Vernon Fred Miner passed away at the age of 59 in Moses Lake. Vern was born December 4, 1951 and raised in Warden, Washington graduated from Warden High School and worked at Basin American Foods from 1973 until 2010 mostly in plant maintenance. Vern is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and June Miner. He is survived by his wife, Mary (St. John) of Moses Lake, a daughter Jennifer (Andre') Roybal, grandsons Drake and Devon, a sister, Dorthy Evans and a brother Rick Miner of Lincoln City, OR, a brother Terry Miner of Warden and nieces, Tara and Satin Miner of Moses Lake. Vern and Mary enjoyed traveling; their favorite destinations were to Las Vegas and to the ocean for whale watching.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, 104 W 5th Ave, Moses Lake, WA. Friends and family may pay their respects throughout the day, Thursday - 10AM - 7:00PM. Cremated remains will be intered at Pioneer Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 11:00AM.
