Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application was received on August 4, 2011 and a SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on August 9, 2011 from Marlin Hutterian Brethren, 21344 NE Rd 18, Marlin, WA 98832 (Designated Contact: Edd Johnson, Center State Construction, 11966 Debonair St., P.O. Box 2018, Moses Lake, WA 98836, (509) 762-2262, were found to be technically complete on August 10, 2011. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-significance for this proposal utilizing the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: The proposal is to construct a 200' x 240' (48,000 sq. ft.) pre-engineered steel structure to be used for agricultural equipment storage and storage of potato seed along with future expansion of a 240' x 100' roof only addition on the west side of the building. The structure proposed is on an approx. 158 acre parcel located in the Agricultural zoning District. ZONING: Agriculture. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permits. STUDIES SUBMITTED: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The project site is located at 21344 Rd 18 NE, Marlin, WA. Located approximately º of a mile east of the intersection of Rd 18 NE and Rd U NE, in a portion of Section 34, Township 22 North, Range 30 East, W.M., Grant County, WA (Parcel #18-1603-000) Copies of application materials (File #11-5608) are available from Dorothy Black, Grant County Planning Department, 457 1st Avenue NW, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509)754-2011, ext. 620.
