Firefighter, EMT golf tourney set

MATTAWA - The 8th annual Firefighter/EMT Golf Tournament Fund Raiser has been scheduled for Aug. 20 at the Desert Aire Golf Course.

This will be a team scramble, but singles are welcome. The teams will be computer-generated based on handicaps.

The entry fee will be $50 per individual, $30 for Desert Aire members. There will be team and individual prizes.

The entry fee will cover the cost of a chicken dinner that includes beverages.

The tournament will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start. For further information, call Desert Aire at 932-4439.
