Laurie Leahey scores four honors in gal golf

CRESCENT BAR - Laurie Leahey was honored four times at the awards stand of the weekly women's club competition at Crescent Bar Golf Course on Aug. 2. Mavis Bennett made it three times.

Leahey was the division 2 low net winner with 71. She was the division long putt winner with an effort of 15-6.

Leahey also won the game of the day, best even holes, for her division with 36.5. And she scored a birdie on hole No. 12.

Bennett was the overall leader once again, shooting 94 for first low gross in the first division. She had long putt for the division at 9-10 and chipped in on No. 9.

Gloria Trevethan had a double. She had closest-to-the-pin for division 2 with an effort of 6-6, and she scored a birdie on No. 5.

Vickie Brissey was the division 1 low gross winner with 4. Jan Harris won division 1 low net with 65.

Carol Prinzen took the division 1 KP with 16-10. Margaret Linder won game of the day in division 1 with 33.5. And Roe Olsen birdied No. 10.
