Annual fest on Saturday

TRINIDAD - The fourth annual Bread, Cheese & Cured Meats Festival will be held this Saturday, Aug. 13, at 6 p.m. at White Heron Cellars.

White Heron is located on Highway 28 above Crescent Bar and across the roadway from Trinidad. The phone number is 509-797-9463. The entrance is just west of the train overpass.

There will be a $10 cover charge for the entertainment. Meats, cheeses and breads will be available for purchase.

Cured from Leavenworth will provide sausages and salamis. Alpine Lakes Cheeses will bring cheeses, and Vinman's Bakery from Ellensburg will present its breads.

"Shawn, the baker, says this is the only outside event she attends," White Heron owner Cameron Fries said.

Passing Liberty will present a mix of rock, reggae, jazz and dancing sounds.
