Sheila Gail Serrano

Sheila Gail Serrano was received into Heaven on August 7, 2011.

Sheila was born on March 31, 1957, the second child of James Edward and Dorothy (Glassco) Clark and raised in Hazel Green, Alabama, with her siblings James Edward Clark Jr, James LaVoid Clark, Phyllis Hooper, Phillip Birmingham and Charles Birmingham. Sheila moved to the Tri-Cities area in 1976 and it was there, in 1991, that she met her future husband, Tony Serrano. Sheila and Tony were married on Christmas Eve 2001 and together loved, unconditionally, children Shannah, Dylan VonOlnhausen, Elijah and Isabella Finchum as well as Tabitha and grandchildren, Dakota and Kadeence.

Sheila was a kind-hearted, giving person who very much enjoyed reading, walking with friends, swimming and caring for her dogs: Petey, Dinky and Poncho and cats: Buddy, Caprica and Scooter. Sheila gave, asking nothing in return and forgave, not letting the sun set on an argument.

Sheila is preceded in death by her father and brother, Charles.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Benson Funeral Chapel, 104 W 5th Ave, Moses Lake at 1:00 PM, Pastor John Paisley of Riverview Baptist Church officiating.
