John H. M. Waters, 83, longtime Moses Lake resident passed away Friday, August  5, 2011 at home.

John was born in Mocksville, North Carolina on June 29, 1928.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anna M. Waters; two sons, John and Robert; three daughters, Diana, Debra and Lynda; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He served in the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged in October of 1948. John worked many years for Burlington Railroad as a car foreman. Upon his retirement in 1983, he and Anna moved to Moses Lake where they have since lived.
