Carl Rickey Strange

| August 10, 2011 6:00 AM

Carl Rickey Strange (Mosley), 40, longtime resident of Moses Lake, Wash. died August 6, 2001 in Roswell, NM.  Carl was born July 27, 1971 in Soap Lake, Wash. to Janice Loretta Cox and John Strange.  After John passed away, Carl was raised by his step-father David H. Mosley Sr., who he knew as his father.

Rick, as he was known by most leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Mercedes Nickerson and Cloe Strange and his grandchildren; although he was not with them often, his love for his daughters and grandchildren was endless.

Rick loved to play guitar and would sit for hours willing and eager to teach anyone willing to learn; he had a passion for writing music and drawing as well.  He was truly artistic by nature.    With a caring heart, he would help and care for others, as not only his profession, but also it was within his caring nature.  Rick had an infectious smile that could light up a room along with a witty sense of humor that was just as quick as his smile.

Rick was a "free-spirited" man who lived each and every day his own way.  On his last adventure, he traveled to Roswell, New Mexico, where he was recently residing to pursue his passion for exploring the unexplained.

Rick had a love for AM radio "Coast to Coast".  Words cannot express the joy and laughter Rick brought to others' lives.  Everyone he touched and those who knew and loved him will dearly miss him.

Rick is also survived by his dear mother Janice Loretta Cox, of Moses Lake; brothers and sisters Mary Rowan (Patrick Harless), Dave (Shannon) Mosley,  Josh (Rachel) Mosley, Amanda Cox, Ashlee Cox, Aimee Cox, and Josef Cox; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends that will forever cherish and miss him dearly.

Rick, we will meet again...
