Royal schools add exploratory teacher

ROYAL CITY - The Royal School District has added a new position - exploratory teacher - for the fall.

This full-time teacher will work in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. It's an elective class for projects for students who are up to level in reading and math.

Students who are not up to level will go to special classes with math and reading teachers during the same class period.

According to Super?intendent Rose Search, the exploratory classroom will give students in the elective additional time to work on projects from their regular classes.
