Notice is hereby given that a request for a Variance was

received on 7/18/11 from Jim Nelson, 24405 NE 11th St, Sammamish,

WA 98074, (Contact: Dewey Spurbeck, 19968 Rd. A.5 NE, Soap Lake,

WA) and was found to be Technically Complete and preliminarily

appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and

other applicable State and local requirements as of 8/1/11.

PROJECT: The proponent seeks a variance to GCC ยง 23.12, Table 3, which states that the side setback for the Shoreline Development 3 Zone is 5 feet. The proponent wishes to build a pole roof structure with a one foot setback. SEPA: Exempt. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: None. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The project site is Lot 20, Block 7 of Rimrock Cove Division 1, located on the east side of Moore Rd. NE, approximately 8 miles southwest of Coulee City. In a portion of Section 29, Township 24 N, Range 27 E, W.M., Grant County, WA. ZONING: Shoreline Development 3. Required mitigation will be pursuant to UDC. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING: Board of Adjustment Hearing, 7 pm, September 14, 2011, in Commissioners' Hearing Room of Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony.
