Harlan Abraham

Harlan Abraham, 70, Moses Lake resident and formerly of Ravensdale, Washington passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Kadlec Hospital in Richland. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Kayser's Chapel. Harlan was born on March 29, 1941 in Portland, Oregon, son of the late Harold and Hilda (Berreth) Abraham. He was raised and educated in Portland, graduating from Benson High School in 1959. He attended Oregon State for a few years before entering the U.S. Navy. After his honorable discharge he went to Portland State receiving his Bachelor's Degree. Harlan married Joyce Adams in December of 1962 in Portland where they continued to live until 1968 when they moved to the Puget Sound area. Harlan worked as a systems analyst at Boeing. In 1998 they moved to Moses Lake where they have lived since. His dream was to have his own wood working shop. This dream came true and he made several items for family members. He loved spending time with his family.

Harlan is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons, Lloyd and Darla Abraham and Wayne and Jaymie Abraham; daughter, Corie Anna Abraham; siblings, May, Dennis and Donna; 13 grandchildren; two aunts and numerous nieces and nephews.
