Luis D. Martinez, 18, Moses Lake resident passed away July 28, 2011 at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima immediately followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Guarding Angels Cemetery, 2595 Road L. N.E., Moses Lake. Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd at the Church and from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 4th at the Church. Luis was born in Torrance, California on March 4, 1993. The family moved to Moses Lake in 1996. Luis was raised and educated in Moses Lake. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing basketball and loved to spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Norma Zepeda; father and step-mother, Efrain & Maria Elena Martinez; 5 sisters, Beatriz Ramirez, Marisol Ramirez, Corina Martinez, Dulce Maria Martinez & Norma Martinez; 3 brothers, Jose Zepeda, Alex Martinez and Eric Martinez; nieces & nephews, Amya, A.J., Cesar, Jr., Alyna, Zariaha, Navae and Xzavier; maternal grandparents, Felipe & Maria De Jesus Zepeda; numerous aunts and uncles; girlfriend, Cecilia Perez.
