Lila Elzig

Lila Elzig, of Moses Lake, Washington passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer Thursday July 21, 2011, at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington surrounded by beloved family members. Born on January 29, 1943 in Cingmars Township, Minnesota, to Harold and Muriel Douglass, Lila enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. She devoted numerous hours of her time to the Columbia Basin Walleye Association.

Lila is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Robert; son Robert and grandsons Justin, Tyler and Nathan; son Ryan and his wife Kari; sister Patsy; nieces Kathy, Beverly, Carolyn, Lori, Renee, Julie and their families; nephews Scott, Blake, Mervin, Bruce, Brian and their families; special friends Curt and Barb.

Per Lila's final wishes, no funeral services will be held. Instead she requests that in her memorial, donations be made to the Columbia Basin Chapter of Relay for Life through the American Cancer Society.
