Kleyn strikes four times in women's golf

CRESCENT BAR - It was Tressa Kleyn day at the weekly Crescent Bar Golf Course women's day competition on July 19.

Kleyn's name appeared on the list of honors four times. She posted the low gross and low net scores of 114 and 70 in the second division.

Kleyn also won closest-to-the-pin (KP) on hole No. 5 with a shot that finished two fee, 2.5 inches from the hole. And she won game of the day for her division with a 106.

The game of the day allowed each player to replace one score on the front and one on the back with par.

Mavis Bennett had a stellar day of her own. She scored low gross (103) and low net (77) in division 1. She also won game of the day with 98.

Margaret Linder was the division 1 KP winner with an effort of 27-7. Laurie Leahy had long putt on hole No. 2, sinking a shot from 5-4.
