Royal school teachers given extra duty

ROYAL CITY - The Royal School District will buy back the prep periods of three teachers during the coming school year because of a need for their services in the classroom.
Peter Christensen will teach his high school business skills class seven periods instead of six. According to Superintendent Rose Search, there is a large number of students lined up for the class.
At the middle school, Donna Dixon and Dan Davis will give up their prep periods in favor of one additional physical education class each.
