Manager displays confidence in PUD workers

EPHRATA - In light of the recent news regarding gambling activities at Grant PUD, some of our customers may have concerns about our workforce. I believe the valuable contributions made by our employees are far too important to be overshadowed by this incident.

Please be assured that we are taking the appropriate steps to resolve issues related to gambling. While I do not condone or excuse these actions, I strongly believe in the character, quality and caliber of our employees.

The hard work of many individuals within our organization often goes unnoticed, yet their impact is seen each time you flip a light switch in your home. It is their devotion to this organization and our communities that contributes to Grant PUD offering some of the most affordable electric rates in our nation.

As the general manager of Grant PUD, I am proud of the work we have underway across this utility and continue to have every confidence in the abilities of our staff.
