Cleo Joyce Thoday

| April 29, 2011 6:00 AM

Cleo Joyce Thoday passed at the age of 93 years old. She was born on December 10, 1917 in Montana.

Heaven welcomes, with great anticipation, an amazing woman; while with heavy hearts and sorrow Cleo Thoday passed away April 25, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.

We truly believe there is no better way to leave this physical world than surrounded by the legacy she created, her family! We know she left embraced by love and was welcomed just the same into heaven by God and her loved ones that have already passed. We are thankful that she is now in peace and there will be no further pain or suffering. As she said goodbye to us, we take great comfort knowing she is now able to see her father, mother, and son; along with many others. We will see each other again, that we know for sure. We know this pain will ease in time, but what will never ease are the life lessons she taught each of us. She was the strongest, most caring, generous, supportive, and loving woman we know. She would have done anything for anyone of us and she gave us 93 fabulous years! She will be dearly missed.

We Love You. God Bless.

Cleo is survived by her children, Richard, Stephen, and Christine; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to the staff at Rainier Vista Nursing home and Father Ben with Christ Episcopal Church. You were all wonderful, compassionate and loving in caring for our mother. Thank you for helping us through our mothers Spiritual Journey.

A small family gathering will be held to celebrate the life of Cleo at Curnow Funeral Home, 1410 Main Street, Sumner WA, on Saturday April 30th at 3:00 pm. Her final resting place will be in Moses Lake at the Pioneer Memorial Gardens.
