MOSES LAKE - Home is where the fair is.

At least, that will be the case at the Grant County Fairgrounds this weekend during the 2011 Spring Fair & Home Show.

The fair runs from 1 p.m. Friday through 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Fair & Home Show features exhibitors offering a variety of home-related products and services.

Several regular exhibitors will be there, said Grant County Fairgrounds Office Manager Alice Higgins, including Pampered Chef, Kitchen Craft, Liberating Style, Family Services of Grant County, Northwest Indian Crafts, Vivid Imaginations and several cosmetic and health vendors.

It is the first home show for several new exhibitors including Meditrina Massage, Sage Academy of Massage, King Furniture, and a yacht club from Coeur d'Alene that will be selling boats, Higgins said.

"Davis carnival will be bringing in a nice large carnival for us," said Peggy Fitch, office manager for Grant County Fairgrounds. "The fair will feature entertainment all three days."

The entertainment includes lawn mower races, a performance by the Today's Generation Dancers, live music from local Top 40 DJ Dan Blackman and the bands Lake City Blues and Destino Norteno.

Food is provided by vendors including the Lind's Concessions, Top Gun Concessions, Special Olympics and the Lionesses, who will be selling their signature space burgers, said Fitch. A beer garden will be run by the Moose Family Fraternity.

It's a great opportunity for "fun, food and family," said Higgins.

There is no cost for admittance to the event.
