LYNNE LYNCH'S MY TURN Reader appreciates newspaper's comments

I would like to thank you for the clarifying article on the front page of the paper today. I appreciated your comments and the fact that you added the comments of our caring and compassionate Superintendent, Michelle Price.

As a school board member I have heard many of the frustrated and angry comments that staff have vented about the newspaper because of Lynne Lynch's article. And as a marketing professional I know that word-of-mouth exchanges can be exhilarating or devastating to a business/organization.  I want you to know that I, personally,  appreciate all the positive articles that the Herald has written over the years about our district; many of them written by Lynne herself. Your publication has been supportive not only about our district but of neighboring districts as well. I will continue to counter any negative comments that come my way with positive feedback about all you do for our district and our community.

I hope the district and the local paper can continue a good working relationship. It is paramount to the success of our community.
