Joaquin Othoniel Serrano

Joaquin Othoniel Serrano, 23, longtime Moses Lake resident died in his home Sunday, April 17, 2011 in Moses Lake, WA. Joaquin was born in Tlaltenango, Zacatecas, Mexico on April 28, 1987.

Joaquin graduated from Moses Lake High School in 2006. He was a very kind and generous person, always willing to help out a friend or family member. He was always very happy and energetic, always trying to make people happy and keep them in a good mood! Joaquin's absolute pride and joy and beloved treasure was his only son Braden who he loved more than anything. From the moment Braden was born, Joaquin did nothing but provide the best for his family.

Joaquin is survived by his wife Chelsie Owens Serrano, son Braden Serrano, his beloved mother Felicitas S. Tovar, father Juan D. Tovar, brothers Isaias Tovar, J. Enrique Tovar, all of Moses Lake, WA, Juan Jr. Tovar of Everett, WA and sister Jenny D. Tovar of Renton, WA; grandmother Maria R. Delgado Serrano of Moses Lake, WA and uncles Alex Tovar and Ernesto Tovar, both of Tri Cities, WA, Gilberto Serrano and aunts Estela Mares of Moses Lake, Irma Serrano, all of Moses Lake, WA; nephews Anthony Tovar, Diminish Tovar, Devious Tovar; and many, many friends who will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011 in the Moses Lake Event Center, 1475 E. Nelson Rd., Moses Lake, WA.
