Royal Knights boys split two with Cle Elum in doubleheader

ROYAL CITY - Royal High School came back in a darkness-shortened game, 8-5, to split a non-league baseball doubleheader with Cle Elum last week. The Warriors won the first contest, 8-3.

Royal scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth, and final inning in the second game. Anthony Westcott led the way with 2-for-3 batting and two runs batted in.

The first game featured a distance-going effort by starter Brady Dixon. Uli Montoya batted 2-for-4.
