Church thanks community

The Congregation of the Royal City United Methodist Church wants to express our Sincere Thanks and Appreciation to all who supported our fund raising effort to repair and maintain the Church building.  

Special thanks go to Harvest Foods and Golden West for the contribution of hamburger and beans used in the chili. The contributions of cash and the offer of volunteer help to do repairs are all greatly appreciated.  

The publicity we received with articles in the paper was outstanding. 

Once again the Royal Slope community rallied behind a project that will benefit the community. The teamwork made the event a very enjoyable effort. 

Those attending showed enjoyment in seeing and visiting friends and neighbors, which made all the work and effort worthwhile and a fun project. Requests were received that a community chili feed become a yearly event and those requests are seriously being considered.  Watch for future information regarding such an event. 

We would like to invite and welcome anyone who wishes to attend worship services on Palm Sunday, April 17, and Easter Sunday, April 24, to join us at 9 a.m.  Our address is 305 Royal Blvd.  NW.
