Reader thankful for fundraiser support

| April 1, 2011 6:00 AM

Thank you to everyone who sponsored tables, attended, bid or donated items to our fifth annual Relay for Life dinner, dance and auction on March 11. Over $14,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. A great time was had by all.

Special thanks to Columbia Colstor, Pillar Rock Grill, Jon McDowell, Bob Trask and Odom Distributing, for making it possible. Also, to Tom Willner, Lee, Adam, Kile and Wade for the awesome music. You guys rock!

We hope you will continue to support the Moses Lake Relay for Life and the many fundraisers scheduled in the next 60 days. Including April 5, when Papa John's Pizza will donate a percentage of sales all day, May 14 with a parking lot sale will be held at Penhallurick's, and May 21 during the Bark for Life at Frontier Middle School, to name a few. Please watch for our ad in the Columbia Basin Herald or visit our website at www.relayforlife.org/moseslakewa or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/relayforlifemoseslakewa for the latest info.

This year's Relay for Life will be held on June 3-4, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Moses Lake High School track. The theme is Seasons of Hope! It is not too late to form a team and our next team captain meeting will be April 14 at 5:30 p.m. at Frontier Middle School.

Thank you again to everyone for your support in our fight against cancer! Together we can make a difference.
