Bob Bernd is a proven professional. Bob has run four businesses successfully, spanning almost forty years and has brought this knowledge with him into his current position as PUD Commissioner for Grant County. Bob will continue to work to keep our rates among the lowest in the entire nation. He has and will continue to guarantee low cost power first to residents, ag, and small businesses.

Unlike some, Bob does not stoop to crying wolf or distorting the financial condition of Grant County PUD. He goes publicly on record stating that our reserve fund since 2006 has almost doubled by increasing from $50 million to almost $100 million! This is our safety net for low water years such as the last two. Bob helped to trim $30 million off the budget. Grant County needs a leader of Bob Bernd's caliber to maintain our history of progress, opportunity and a bright future for all.
