CRESCENT BAR
Reader writes about city involvement
The tort claim that was filed on Sept. 2, was one of the reasons I objected to the City of Quincy getting involved with the issue. They are seeking anyone who will help them. Their economic impact on the City of Quincy is very little, compared to contributing factors. The Quincy economy will not collapse when they move.

I believe that my public servants, Councilmen Travis Wittman and Scott Lybbert by allowing the Crescent Bar islanders could have put us in jeopardy to be "sued." I recommend the entire City of Quincy employees not to talk with anyone about the lease issue because of the potential lawsuit if Crescent Bar think promises were made, as they claim was done with the PUD commissioners and personnel.
I am disappointed in the minutes that didn't include during the meeting, Councilman Wittman wearing a "Save Crescent Bar" T-shirt which is the islanders Facebook group, as a sitting councilman and he partook in the question and answering. As stated before I believe he should have recused himself since his grandparents live on the island.
Lewis Card, who is representing the Crescent Bar North RV Park, is also employed by the City of Quincy apparently for the employment issues or so stated on his Web site:
