CRESCENT BAR
Reader enjoys Chronicle stories
Ted Escobar is one of the best writers I have encountered. He interviews fully until he gets the facts.
The article in the Crescent Bar Chronicle dated 9
17/10 should be repeated in the Herald. John Polky was interviewed with regards to the PUD and its activities in Grant County. What an eye opener. The PUD has gotten too big and runs like a government entity instead of a public entity. If they run short, they increase rates and add surcharges. I thought it was interesting that the 20 percent surcharge was backed off when they realized it could affect the election of PUD commissioners. When I read the average salary was $120,800. I couldn't breathe. We the ratepayers need to become informed and make phone calls to the PUD regarding this abuse of power in our county. Please run Polky's article in the Herald.
