ATTENTION-WARDEN AREA FARMERS FARM LAND FOR LEASE
The Port of Warden Commission will accept proposals from area
farmers to lease farmland it owns from January 1, 2011 to December
31, 2015 time frame as follows:
Farm Unit 138 Blk 44, 48 acres under circle & 7 acres rill
irrigated West Half Farm Unit 139 Blk 44, 39 acres rill
irrigated.
The Port of Warden Commission will accept proposals from area farmers to lease farmland it owns from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2015 time frame as follows:
Farm Unit 138 Blk 44, 48 acres under circle & 7 acres rill irrigated West Half Farm Unit 139 Blk 44, 39 acres rill irrigated
Port will entertain leases for a 5-year period with annual year-end reviews depending on potential industrial development. Port does not see this development taking place during this time period.
Cash rent is required plus lease hold tax of 12.84% with half paid by April 15th and the balance by October 15th each year. Lessee is responsible for all water and power charges. Lessee will be responsible for normal upkeep on irrigation system. Lessee is also required to keep liability insurance in place of $1,000,000.00 with Port names as certificate holder or coinsured.
Please submit your proposals to the Port office located upstairs at Warden City Hall no later than 12:00PM Noon October 15th, 2010 for consideration by the Port Commission at their regular scheduled meeting October 19th, 2010 at 12:00 PM Noon. Proposals may also be mailed to Warden Port District, PO Box 841, Warden, WA 98857 or faxed to 509 349 2480. Please confirm with office that we have received proposal.
