ODESSA - After a strong showing in non-conference play, the Almira/Coulee-Hartline's football team continued its run against Odessa-Harrington Friday night.

In a designed non-league game, ACH set the tone as potential Bi County 1B favorites by scoring early and often in a blow out, 56-8 win over Odessa-Harrington.

ACH (4-0) presented a balanced attack of both rushing (259 yards) and passing (204 yards).

Spearheading the attack was quarterback Derek Isaak who started things off with a 58-yard touchdown run and an 85-yard scoring pass to Daniel Hardy in a 14-0 first quarter.

Things didn't get any better for Odessa-Harrington (2-2), when ACH's Cody Jess scored on touchdown runs of 15 and seven yards in the second quarter to give the visiting Warriors a 30-0 lead.

"I'm very happy with the way our guys played," ACH head coach Brandon Walsh said. "We executed pretty well in all phases of the game.  I was especially happy with how we ran the football.  Last week I thought that was an area we needed to work on and our guys owned that, made some adjustments, and it paid off."

Isaak, who ran seven times for 107 yards and finished 8-for-8 passing for 204 yards, ended up accounting for five touchdown including another touchdown pass to Colin Deyarmin of 34-yards that made the score 36-8 at halftime.

He then ran for a 27-yard score in the third quarter and returned a punt 45-yards for a score to account for all the Warriors' production.

ACH's Ty Gregson also ran one in for a 24-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Gregson ended the night with 59 yards rushing on five carries, while Deyarmin gained 48 yards on four carries and Jess contributed 45 yards on four carries.

The two teams will meet up once again in October for a Bi County League game.

"Our history with Odessa-Harrington goes back a long time and it's a good rivalry to be a part of," Walsh said. "They are a tough team to beat at their place and our kids were up for the game.  It was a good win for us on the road."
