The Warden Cougars faced off against home team Lind/Ritzville/Sprague this Thursday in a Non-league Ladies' Volleyball match.

The Lady Broncos took down Warden 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 23-19). Warden (2-3 Overall, 2-1 League) was led by Lindsay Cole with 11 assists and one service ace. Other impressive performances from the Cougars include Carter Marks (three kills, one block and 17 digs), Iris Rodriguez (four kills and two blocks), Keisha Urwin (who went 8/8 serving, including two aces), and Narcy Guerra (15 digs, 5/5 serving, and two aces).

"We played a very good Lind/Ritzville/Sprague team on their home court and struggled to find any momentum." Said Warden's Coach Jeff Kottong, "The girls never gave up, but continued to play hard throughout the match. We had trouble with our attacks; keeping them in while still attacking their defense. We learned a lot about some of our weaknesses and what we need to work on in practice. I feel confident this was a loss that will make us better down the road."
