PUD ELECTION

Reader supports Bob Bernd

I would like to give my support to Bob Bernd in his re-election bid for the PUD Commission. Bob has served the community for many years and I have always found him to be a thoughtful, intelligent and careful person.

Grant County is very fortunate to have Bob Bernd as a Grant PUD Commissioner.

Bob has never taken sides with any interest group seeking preferential treatment from the PUD. He has been unafraid to take positions that are sometimes unpopular with one group or another.

He always listens and considers all input before making any decisions. He consistently does what he believes is best for all involved.

Serving as a PUD Commissioner takes a great deal of time and energy. The learning curve for a new commissioner is steep and Bob has done a good job understanding the complicated and complex workings of a large publicly owned enterprise.

I urge you to vote to re-elect Bob Bernd.
