NOTICE OF CLOSING OF VOTER REGISTRATION BOOKS FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION – NOVEMBER 2, 2010

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the registration books for the

registration of voters in all of Grant County will be closed to

mail and online registrations, transfers of registration, address

and name changes after Monday, October 4th, 2010.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the registration books for the registration of voters in all of Grant County will be closed to mail and online registrations, transfers of registration, address and name changes after Monday, October 4th, 2010.

Individuals who are not currently registered in Washington State and who miss the registration deadline have until Monday, October 25th, 2010, in accordance with RCW 29A.08.140. Registration must be done in person at the Grant County Auditor's Office, located at the Grant County Courthouse, 35 C St. NW, Ephrata, Washington. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Auditor's Office is available to provide assistance to the elderly and disabled persons for voter registration and voting in accordance with RCW 29A.04.220. The books will remain closed in all of Grant County and participating districts until after the General Election, which is scheduled to be held on the 2nd day of November, 2010.
