YAKIMA - A Magie Munoz strike in the 71st minute was enough to propel the Moses Lake High School girls soccer team to a 1-0 win at Eisenhower last night in Yakima.

It was the Chiefs' second consecutive win over a Class 4A state-ranked team.

Moses Lake (4-2-1, 2-1) got the win when Colby Harper served up the decisive strike by Munoz.

"The girls played awesome and everyone contributed to our success," Moses Lake head coach Ric Char said. "This gave us a win against the 19th-ranked team in the state."

Moses Lake outshot Eisenhower 8-7 and Chiefs goalkeeper Cortney Radocaj made a key save late in the game to ice the win.

Heidi Palmer played in goal during the first half and made two saves for Moses Lake.
