family.

Petra was born to Pedro and Juanita Cavazos on Jan. 8, 1926 in Paris, Texas. They then moved to Moses Lake in 1962 Petra was a homemaker, she loved her flowers, cooking and being with her family. She was strong and had so much courage. She blessed us all.

She is survived by her husband Jesus Alvarado of 65 years: sister Julia, brother Pedro, Robert (Margureite), Erasmo (Tomasa), Rene (Stella), Hortensia (Rodolfo Lopez), Idalia (David Mitchell), Sylvia (Benito Garza), Ramiro, Jeff Flinders, Jesse (Char). She had 24 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildrens.

Preceding her in death are parents Pedro, Juanita Cavazos, sisters Maura Alvarado, Ignacia Magana, Jesusa Mares, Brother Jose, grandson Armando Alvarado,

Rosary will be at Our Lady Of Fatima on September 20, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. and Funeral services on September 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m, followed by interment at Pioneer Memorial Gardens. We would like to thank Samaritan Hospital, Moses Lake Clinic, Dr. Hart, Annie Anderson, and Dr. Garrison. Arrangements are in care of Benson Family Funeral Services, Moses Lake.
