MARDON RESORT - We would like to congratulate the team of Haika and Haika for their win in the Old Farts Tournament with a total weight of 21.30 pounds.

Forty percent of all freshwater recreational fishing in the United States of America is failing due to habitat deterioration. This is a fact! On Potholes Reservoir the Central Washington Fish Advisory Committee has been pro-active since June 5, 2005. As of September 15, 2010 the CWFAC has planted 1,544 Habitat Boxes on the floor of Potholes Reservoir. These sanctuary's are providing first and second year fish a place to live and grow. The 1544 Habitat Boxes that have been deposited represent only 20 percent of the structure our permit allows. After failing to win seven grant applications in 2010 the only monies we have generated have been from our CWFAC Walleye Tournament, Sammie Bash Golf Tournament and our Lake Poker Run and Beach Party. Even with support of BASS at a National Level and the BASS Federation we have failed to win grant monies. For more information look at www.cwfac.org.
