Reader supports Albert Lin, Walker, DeTrolio
Several of my former clients asked who I’m voting for. I have been an aggressive defense attorney. Though I’m disabled, I want everybody to know what 30 years of defense work taught me.
I learned from Monty Hormel, my mentor, that to really handle tough cases, both sides need to have effective representation to find the truth. I started out defending against Paul Klasen and I finished working defending against Judge John Knodell.
In the biggest, toughest cases both sides have to be adequately represented to find the truth.
Paul Klasen indicated in his letter all the problems that were caused by our current prosecutor including the lawsuits and bar complaints.
My assessment of Lin is he needs to be the next prosecutor.
Albert has been with the prosecutor’s office long enough to know what cases to prosecute. We need a prosecutor that understands which cases need to be settled in order to reduce the cost of the office.
I also endorse Dale Walker for PUD commissioner because Dale will keep the cost down for the regular client. I know he is personally involved in the care of the elderly and the disadvantaged. I know Dale will keep the cost low for the consumer.
I also endorse Frank DeTrolio for sheriff. I worked on cases with and against him for many years. I personally believe he is the candidate that will keep the cost low for the sheriff’s office. He has stayed with the sheriff’s office even though he has been shot so you know the man is dedicated to fighting cases that are difficult. He wants the truth to appear in court.
