MOSES LAKE - The Coats 4 Kids program will distribute coats to those in need this Saturday in Moses Lake.

Cedar Street Cleaners, the Rotary Club of Moses Lake and Samaritan Healthcare Foundation will distribute the coats, collected since September, to low-income families in the area in hopes of helping people prepare for winter.

"It's really a matter of being there to get a coat. Hopefully the information has gone out to the families in need," says Coats 4 Kids co-chairman Dave Campbell. "I hope we have enough coats to take care of people. I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of demand."

Campbell says he is hoping to distribute more than 500 coats at the event.

All types and sizes of coats were accepted and Cedar Street Cleaners of Moses Lake cleaned all of the coats at no charge.

Coats will be distributed between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. this Saturday in the Chief Moses Middle School Cafeteria.
