REARDAN - After starting off the season unbeaten in 10 matches the Almira/Coulee-Hartline Lady Warriors volleyball team dropped its second consecutive decision in a 3-2 (25-19, 20-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-13) loss Tuesday night.

ACH (10-2) fell to a strong non-conference foe after losing its first league match this past weekend.

"It was a battle to the finish and we ended up losing in five," ACH head coach Katie Stephens said. "But the girls played well and it could have gone our way at any point."

Nikki Osborne finished with 18 kills and Bryanna Stevens added 17 kills for the Lady Warriors.

Osborne also added 18 digs and four service aces while Stevens led the team with four blocks.

Madeline Isaak contributed 33 assists and 12 digs for ACH while Jordan Jones added 12 digs.

"The Warriors played at a very intense level tonight and even though we did not end up on top, we never let down," Stephens said. "Our defense and hustle plays let us get many balls back over the net at key times in the match. This is exactly the kind of game we needed at this point in the season as we work to refine our offense and defense."

ACH still leads the Bi-County league.
