Notice is hereby given that a Discretionary Use Permit

application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on

September 3, 2010, from GEN-Tex Energy Group, Inc.  Designated

complete on October 14, 2010.

Notice is hereby given that a Discretionary Use Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on September 3, 2010, from GEN-Tex Energy Group, Inc.  Designated Contact:  John Forrest, 6311 Burden Blvd, Suite E, Pasco, WA  99354, Pasco, WA  99354, 509-947-7283 were found to be technically complete on October 14, 2010.  PROJECT:  A Discretionary Use Permit for the first module of a biodiesel unit for a biorefinery with eight (8) additional 30,000 gallon tanks added adjacent to the existing building.  Project will be located on approximately 4 acres of a 16.21 acre parcel in the Urban Heavy Industrial zoning District of Grant County.  ADDITIONAL PERMITS:  Building Permits.  ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES REQUIRED:  None.  LOCATION:  Site address of subject area is 720 Road “N” NE, Moses Lake, WA, located in the NE quarter of S 32, T 19 N, R 29 E, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #18-0257-000 & 18-0271-008).  PUBLIC HEARING:  None.  CONSISTENCY STATEMENT:  This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.  Copies of application materials (File #10-5487) are available from RoseMary Dart, Grant County Planning Department, 457 1st Avenue NW, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509)754-2011, ext. 620.  Office hours:  8 am–12 noon, 1–5 pm, M–F.  Comments must be submitted to the Planning Department no later than 5 pm, November 4, 2010.  Comments should be as specific as possible and mailed, hand-delivered, or sent by facsimile.  Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.
